Mercedes-Benz is known for its luxurious car interiors, and now its taking its world-class design to new heights by partnering with Lufthansa to create a new concept for an aircraft cabin. Presented at the 2015 EBACE (European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition), the concept features a new design direction in which the furniture merges with the cabin interior, creating a seamless flow between floor, wall and ceiling. The aircraft windows are concealed by black panels, a feature borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class screens: using “Magic Sky” technology, the panels can be dimmed electronically from black to transparent and incorporate displays and touch screens for both entertainment and information.
