In addition to treating fans to a preview of their new model year entry, Chevrolet has also unveiled that upcoming generation of the venerable Camaro will also offer a drop top. Set to be delivered early next year, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will feature the brand’s most advanced top, including fully automatic operation, releases, and covers, allowing you to open and close the ragtop at speeds up to 30 mph or from a distance by remote. Like its other 2016 models, this Camaro will also benefit from a lighter chassis that reduces overall ride weight by more than 200 pounds with the added benefit of a stiffer structure for more nimble reflexes. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will be offered in both LT and SS models with six new powertrain combinations, ranging from a 2.0-liter Turbo with 275 HP to a LT1 6.2-liter V8 with 455 HP and torque. New additions to the driving experience also include Driver Mode Selector, a configurable instrument cluster, and new ambient light options. Take a tour after the click and put your local Chevy dealer on speed dial to sign up if you’re interested.
