That one finger waving after a block shot only reminds of Dikembe Mutumbo.

After only four full seasons playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Mount Mutumbo will finally be enshrined with the retirement of his jersey this upcoming season.

Blocking shots and getting rebounds made Mutumbo a defensive mainstay and changed identities of a team with him protecting the paint.

The former Georgetown Hoyas star learned from the legendary college coach John Thompson, who helped other successful big men including Patrick Ewing and Alonzo Mourning. However, Mutumbo was never the scorer or offensive weapon as Ewing and Mourning so under Thompson learned to use his athleticism to become arguably the defensive force of the 90s.
