Legal crime has returned and this time around some are taking a stand against its brutality in the upcoming film, The Purge: Election Year. In the film’s third installment, Leo Barnes (played by Frank Grillo) takes on the role of being in charge of security for the film’s senator, Charlie Roan (played by Elizabeth Mitchell), who is against the idea of The Purge. Throughout the film, Barnes’ mission is to provide the senator with ultimate protection during her presidential run. As a result of The Purge, tables turn which then leads to loads of action and mystery to find the rotten apple in the security bunch. You can expect The Purge: Election Year to release in theaters the weekend of July 4.
