samsung-finished-note-7-investigation-01

According to The Korea Herald, Samsung has now reportedly concluded its internal investigation pertaining to the Galaxy Note 7 controversy. Samsung earlier promised to launch a thorough investigation into the disastrous phone launch, and now the tech giant has concluded its analysis and reported its findings to the concerned parties and labs such as the Korea Testing Laboratory and UL.

There has been claims that the problem is most likely due to the manufacturing defect of Samsung’s SDI battery as well as the engineering of the phone itself. The Note7 was essentially too small for its battery, pinching the poles closer together and increasing the risk of extreme heat, fire, and explosion. Though the public is unsure of the true cause as of yet, Samsung has no timeline for releasing its findings on the Note7 to consumers. Hopefully that changes soon as Samsung owes it to all of its customers to lay out what went wrong, to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
