Deron Williams official became a Net by placing his John Hancock on an iPad in the wee hours of the morning today.
At 12:01 the NBA free agent signing moratorium ended allowing Williams to become a member of the Brooklyn Nets. Unlike traditional contract signings with dozens of lawyers and stacks and stacks of papers, Williams simply whipped out his iPad, signed the dotted line, and posted the picture to Twitter.
The five-year contract with the Nets is for $98.5 million.
