D.R.E., the rapper and producer behind classic album The Chronic and dozens of other hit records, is a Los Angeles native who grew up just a few miles from USC’s campus in Compton. He visited with the Trojans Friday night and offered words of support prior to Saturday night’s primetime contest with No. 5 Stanford.
