Legit looking retail disc designs.
The above image appeared on the NeoGAF forums yesterday of what looks to be the final version of Halo 4 which is set to release on November 6th. People were quick to brush it off as reviewers getting early copies. We haven’t received a copy yet and I’m not seeing any other media outlets that have said they’ve received one either. So maybe one person out there some how got their hands on a copy of the game and that’s that. It doesn’t look like it though.
I am seeing the full first disc available on torrent sites with people claiming that it works. Game Informer is reporting that numerous Xbox Live profiles have been seen playing the game and even getting achievements. They also reached out to Microsoft who said, “we have seen the reports of ‘Halo 4′ content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation.”

This is sounding like a pretty big deal but we still don’t know if this is the final game even though the retail discs look pretty legit. YouTube has been pulling videos that supposedly show leaked content also. So far it looks like the second disc hasn’t been released online yet. It contains all the multiplayer aspects
