Ludwick Marishane was a high school student when he thought of DryBath, a gel that allows people to take baths without the need of water.

Within six months, Marishane devised the formula for the gel, and within a year, he had a full business plan written and applied for a patent on the gel.

Now, his start-up, Headbody Industries, is ready to put out the product which could be crucial for the 2.5 billion people who do not have access to clean water.

DryBath allows people to rub a germ-killing gel on themselves, becoming clean without actually bathing.

Four years after Marishane hatched the idea for his ground-breaking product, he won the organization’s Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year award, along with $10,000 in cash to finance his start-up.

Marishane is a champion of the entrepreneurial spirit, formulating a plan around a great idea that has the potential to help billions of people worldwide.
