That’s because the NBA’s most bougie team will be unveiling new alernate black uniforms next season. Could this be the x-factor the Lakers need to inject life back into their organization? Probably not. This news comes according to Dave McMenamin from ESPN Los Angeles.
The Lakers will debut a new black alternate jersey next season. The Lakers will also be adding a black jersey to their uniform rotation next season, according to a league source …The lettering and numerals will appear in purple with gold outlines and the rest of the jersey material will be primarily black, with some gold accents, the source said.
What these new unis will actually look like still remains unknown. However, thanks to the good folks on the Internet, we have seen a few potential concepts that have us pretty excited. What can we say? We’re suckers for new fly gear!
