kanye-laughs-straight-to-the-bank-selling-1-million-usd-of-pablo-merch-in-2-days-11

In an age where rock band shirts can drive Led Zeppelin concert tees to resell for $10,000 USD, fashion and music fans alike have always been hungry for their favorite artist’s concert merchandise. Yet despite an ever-growing global music scene, demand can hardly keep up with supply; with artists like Travi$ Scott only putting merch out for a hot minute and limited stock to begin with, coveted concert tees are getting more and more exclusive these days. Today’s man of the hour (or season) Kanye West recently had his creative agency DONDA host a Life of Pablo pop-up in NYC this past weekend, where crowds mobbed the humble shop to whet their appetite for exclusive Kanye merch. Featuring a bevy of Pablo-themed apparel including special denim jackets, hoodies, T-shirts, hats and more, the pop-up was intended as a creative extension of his critically-acclaimed The Life of Pablo album. It’s a beautiful morning for Kanye who’s claimed in his daily string of tweets today that he sold $1 million USD of clothing over two days from the pop-up.

but there is no other brand that could sell 1 million dollars of clothing in 2 days from 1 location!!! — KANYE WEST (@kanyewest) March 22, 2016
