Get ready for a summer of Kobe.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is sure to have quite the summer. Along with intensively rehabbing injuries that kept him out of action for most of the 2013-14 NBA season, Bryant will be embarking on a press tour to promote his upcoming Showtime documentary, “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” according to the LA Times.

The Los Angeles Lakers star is scheduled to appear at this summer’s Television Critics Assn. press tour to promote “Kobe Bryant’s Muse,” a feature-length documentary about his life, inspirations and challenges which will air on Showtime this fall.

The documentary, which is being directed by Gotham Chopra, is currently in production.

Stephen Espinoza, executive vice president and general manager of Showtime Sports, said the film

“will offer viewers a deep character portrait of a professional athlete who has transcended his sport to be a culture-moving personality.”
