King James Deserving of the Cover of Top-Selling Video Game Series

This is a great time to be the Miami Heat’s Lebron James. You’ve won a gold medal in London Olympics. You’ve won an NBA title. You’re playing in the Finals for the second year in a row against the Spurs. You’re probably going to Rio for 2016 Olympics. Now, you also get a video game cover.

In a statement James said, “My friends, family, and fans all know how much I love NBA 2K. I remember, as a kid, getting so excited for the game to come out and see who was on the cover, and it’s amazing to be apart of this great tradition. I love partnerships and opportunities that connect me directly to the fans.”

He went on to say more about connecting with the fans.

“I know from my own experience and now watching my own kids, NBA 2K is among the coolest and purest ways for fans to connect to the NBA. I love being a part of it.”

Now, back to how well deserving the Miami Heat superstar is. Lebron James has taken so much criticism from when he was drafted to the Cleveland Cavaliers to when he won his first ring. Just when everyone thought he was satisfied, he metaphorically said, “Hold up wait a minute, y’all thought I was finished?” We now know he’s just morphed to another level of “King.” As much respect as I give him, he’s just beginning the ride to be the best player of this generation and for generations to come.

It’s only fitting that he gets more endorsements. Designs more sneakers. Gets more championship rings and honors. There’s so much respect thrown in he and the Miami Heat’s direction because you can’t even get near him on the court. He’s an all-around player so who’s going to top him on NBA 2K15?
