Nicki Minaj’s brother, Jelani Marag, has been accused of raping a 12-year-old, multiple times, last year. He is now one step closer to having his day in court because according to Bossip, his case has been sent to a grand jury.
Maraj’s case – currently in Nassau County Supreme Court’s sex crimes division – was sent to a grand jury March 3rd and the Nassau County District Attorney is working with the panel to determine whether or not they should indict him.
Maraj has been charged with felony sexual conduct against a child in the first degree, and first-degree rape, also a felony. If he’s convicted, he faces up to 50 years in prison.
50 years? Whoa. This has to be a lot on Nicki. She’s been very quiet about this case as she’s always claimed to be overprotective of her family. I wonder how things will play out if he is found guilty. We will keep you up to date with any future developments.
