Watch this amazing demonstration of the world’s fastest portable smartphone charger, which has the capacity to fully charge phones in about 30 seconds.

The mastermind company behind this invention is Israeli startup StoreDot. The company works mainly in bio-organic nanotechnology, which is apparently a winning field when translated to charing smartphones in a flash.

Their design works by deriving “nanodots” from bio-organic materials, which have increased electrode capacitance and performance due to their size. Who would have thought it would be naturally-occurring compounds that get the job done?

StoreDot is showcasing their landmark design this week, at Microsoft’s Think Next conference in Tel Aviv.

For those of us in the contiguous, enjoy the demonstration below. Yet, for a startup with such brilliance, you’d think they would have edited their video sound a bit more diligently…

As of now, commercial production is geared for late 2016.
