The upcoming Nike LeBron 12 “Six Meridians” takes inspiration from a key component of James’ training recovery and preparation, massage therapy, and the ancient Chinese practice of reflexology, which is said to releases energy to different points of the body — or meridians — when massaging pressure points in the feet and hands. And while a massage evokes tranquility and relaxation, the the design of the shoe conveys the opposite, featuring vibrant pops of color highlighted by a Hyper Crimson base and swirling waves of Volt.
