Arguably, the most important aspect of creating a film or a TV show is casting.

Without the right actors, a whole project could collapse on itself.

Often, to find this dream cast, auditions need to be held. It can be difficult to determine if what someone does in a room in front of a casting director will be able to translate on screen.

But, I have a feeling that the casting directors who saw these auditions up close and personal had no problem realizing they were in the presence of greatness.

The guys at Prank Media have compiled this super-cut of old audition tapes from a ton of actors who have since gone on to be superstars.

There’s young Scar Jo trying out for “Jumanji.” There’s Ellen Page reading for the part of “Juno.” There’s even a tiny Leo trying to land a part in “The Outsiders.”

It really is something to see these guys before they grew into bonafide A-listers.
