It’s finally here folks. The first official trailer of the highly anticipated sequel, “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”.
“Anchorman 2″ finds the world’s favorite news anchor back at it but dealing with a new decade (the 1980s) in a big new city (New York).
Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk along with his co-anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weatherman Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner).
They all come to New York in an attempt to make it on a 24-hour news network, but don’t expect everything to go easy for the classiest news casters in the game.
“Anchorman 2″ already has a ton of cameos lined up from stars such as Kanye West, Drake, Jim Carrey, John C. Reilly, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey and Sacha Baron Cohen.
The film is directed by Adam McKay of “Step Brothers” and produced by Judd Apatow of “Talladega Nights.”
