We’re not sure what’s the more appropriate response to a 17-year-old shattering the backboard in a high school basketball game. Is it the couple of bewildered wows from the cameraman, or is it the group of kids that just ran out the gym, satisfied with their basketball intake for the evening? Our pick however, is the cheerleader in the bottom left that tried to hide in the bleachers, likely embarrassed for her teammate: a young, popular cheer captain who curved young Kyle Driscoll earlier this school year. And to you, young lady, we thank you for fueling this stud.

Currently uncommitted, Kyle is a senior captain at Evans High School in Evans, Georgia. According to ncsasports.org, the forward with 18ppg hopes to “receive a degree in the medical field, such as a pharmacist, sports medicine or physical therapist.”

This game took place Tuesday night, and was called off in the third quarter, after the backboard was shattered, of course. Evans lost, but Kyle won, and hopefully he wins the heart of the girl we made up earlier.
