This guy is lucky he’s not in prison today.
After he received a red card for a dirty tackle, Turkish soccer player Mehmet Değirmenci went up to Kayhan Karakaş, while he was laying on the ground and viciously kicked him in the face.
After the game, pressed charges against Değirmenci — saying he could have “killed him.”
“Thank god that kick came near my jaw. If it had hit me directly in the face, it could have broken my nose, made me blind or break my neck,” Karakaş said.
He added that he has been suffering from serious neck pain and hasn’t been able to sleep. I smell a lawsuit coming as well.
As why he kicked his opponent, Degirmenci said Karakas insulted his dead mother.
