J-Cross, otherwise known as Jamal Crawford, has got it. The standout sixth man for the Los Angeles Clippers has played his role for his entire career and at 33-years-old, he shows no signs of slowing down.

Unlike many other NBA players who have been spending their offseason dicking around, getting drunk and arrested, Jamal has been spending his time wisely perfecting his craft. And during his very own summer pro-am game in his hometown Seattle, he gave fans in the half-empty gym a treat.

Watch as the NBA all-pro goes off against these average Joes and tears them a new one with dazzling crossover moves and a silky smooth jump shot — not to mention there were a few sick dimes in there. You can easily see why he is one of the most valuable players on a stacked Clippers team.

Like I said, this guy is showing no signs of slowing down. Sure he was going up against a bunch of scrubs, but those crosses are going to mix anybody regardless of skill level.

Some people may think it’s a damn shame that he doesn’t start, but it’s this skill set here that makes him so useful coming off the bench. How the hell is a second-tier NBA player supposed to guard that? The stars of the game already have a hard time keeping up!

The fact that he’s on the same team as Chris Paul makes absolutely no sense. Add in Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan and this team will be in contention for a title very year that they stick together. It’s going to be tough next season, though, with all of the changes that have been going on in the league. We’ll just have to wait and see.
