It is looking more and more like this wasn’t a random killing, there are just too many coincidences happening.
The man who shot and killed Smith filed a wrongful death suit against the police in 2005 for killing his father. One of the cops named in the suit dined with Smith an hour before the killing.
Now, we find out that Cardell Hayes was also a security officer for the Saints while Smith played there.
Seems to be a lot more things going on than just a random roid rage incident.
