You heard it here first, after months of rumors that Lil Boosie was set to be released by November of this year, it is now official. Boosie is set to be released August 18th 2014. That’s the date on record with the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections. Based on a separate conversation with Pam Laborde, the agency’s communications director, NOLA.com added that Boosie will be under supervision until June 17, 2018.

It’s looking good for him once released, especially with this unofficial million dollar deal set from Maybach Music Group’s Rick Ross, very very smart move.

Boosie has been locked up since 2009 for a marijuana possession charge and a probation violation. He had also been facing charges for the murder of Terry Boyd since 2009, but he was acquitted in 2012. He then had another charge in 2011, he plead guilty to attempting to smuggle narcotics into prison.
